1.Hamlets speech on pages 26-29 is a soliloquy because he is alone on stage and saying out loud what he is thinking and feeling

2.Hamlet lets the reader know that he is still mourning his fathers death, he wants to commit suicide but won't because it is a sin in his religion and he doesn't like his mother because "Less than a month after my father's death, even before the tears on her cheeks had dried, she remarried."
